It has been quite cold lately, hasn't it? I honestly lost count of how many lipbalms I used. I have probably one in each handbag and jacket that I own. And I go mental if I don't find one available at hand!
As you might probably be able to tell, I don't use lipsticks that much, and I prefer lipbalms much more, especially the tinted ones.
I had this product for a couple of years and I must say that it started to smell pretty badly, and I stopped using it, however only a tiny bit of product was left, so I didn't waste a lot.
This is the Max Factor Xperience Sheer Gloss Balm. In shade 02 Coral.
The swatch:
I wouldn't call it Coral, as it is more kind of peachy pink rather than coral. It has SPF 10 which is something that I look in a lip balm. As the name implies it is a sheer gloss balm, so nothing really heavily pigmented or so. However, it is perfect for a hint of colour on the lips.
I went through this product quite quickly. (The reason why I had it for over year is because I had forgotten all about it! ) This is reasonable as one tends to apply a lip balm quite often throughout the day.
I really enjoyed the product as it also has a nice and pleasant smell/taste to it. However, it does tend to smell bad when it reaches its expiry date.
Its biggest downfall? The price. I remember I think I paid around 8-10 euros for it and you don't get that much product either. So, I guess it was a bit pricey.
