Michael Todd True Organics Blue Green Algae Toner

Hello guys :)

I have been wanting to review this product for ages! Anyways, I have been recently converted to Michael Todd. I have seen them on videos on Youtube and I wanted to try them out only because I wanted to change my skincare routine. I change my skincare quite often. When I finish a certain product I usually try something new unless it really made a difference.

I have never been fan of toners, because they dry out my skin so badly and I have quite oily skin so my skin  can take some 'stress' but toners just dried my skin and that's all.

This toner doesn't dry the skin one bit!! I find that it doesn't strip the skin out of its natural hydration which is excellent.

It is targeted for people with normal to dry skin however I think it is suitable for all skin types. It is great at removing the makeup residues that are left after cleansing. It also removes the residues from scrubs and masks and other cleansing products.

I use this morning after my cleanser and in the evening after I use a scrub or a mask or just the cleanser.

What I really like about this product is that it doesn't contain any nasty chemicals such as sulfates and parabens and it is mostly organic.

The website actually ships worldwide and the shipping for Malta is 6 euros so it is quite reasonable I think for products coming from USA. I didn't pay any duty tax so it is even better.

I don't know about the fact that it helps to prevent acne. I do not have acne however I do find that it somewhat helps to clear out some pimples which occur every now and then.

The one thing which made me hate the product at the very first moment was the lavender scent that the product has. But it doesn't transfer on to the face which is excellent!

Hope you found this review helpful. You can find this product along with a vast range of skincare products tailored for every skin type here

    1. Well your skin can be oily and dehydrated at the same time. So you would get moisture from your oil. but hydration from the 'water' or toner in this case. It is like when you need to drink lots of water as you are dehydrated. So you would actually need something which is oil free if that makes sense :)
