Pupa Vamp Cream Eyeshadow Review

I cannot believe how late I am on this Review!

If there is one thing that I have worn continuously these past 2 months or so is this Pupa Vamp Cream Eyeshadow in shade 001.

This cream eyeshadow was in the Pupa Princess Collection which to be honest with you I am hooked with.

I just love simple products which you can just apply and bam you're good to go! This is one of those products.

These cream eyeshadows come in 2 shades which are 001 Shiny Mauve and 002 Shiny Green. I have the Shiny Mauve one and I can just say that the colour is a simply gorgeous mauve taupe colour which is seriously suitable for both day and night.

I like to apply this cream shadow with a synthetic eyeshadow brush and most of the time I wear it alone with no eyeshadows over  it. However, it is also an excellent eyeshadow base for various colours. I created a look which was meant for Valentines Day but it can be easily worn for everyday or occasion. It is quite shimmery however it is an appropriate shimmer and not the kind of chunky glitter type of product.

This is the press release that accompanies the product:

'PUPA PRINCESS VAMP! CREAM EYESHADOW
SHIMMER COLOUR – SUPER STAYING POWER
Superstar eyes in just a few seconds.
Vamp! Cream gives shimmering color, perfect for bringing the eyes to life with a unique dazzling look.
Unprecedented easy-to-apply formula that blends pearls and pigments for a long-lasting flawless look without creasing.
The results? Incomparable color and an incredible look that will last all day! Low allergy risk.
Ophthalmologically tested '

Check the links for their Pupa Milano Facebook Page and their website for more information.

I totally agree with the statement with regards to the long lasting power of this eyeshadow. My eyes are quite oily but this one holds on pretty well on my lids. It dries quickly to a dry formula and you have to be quite quick when it comes to blending. But to be honest, you don't need that much blending.

Check the Video below for a tutorial using Pupa products.

Revlon ColorStay Foundation Review

I neglected my blog for a while now and I am finding it very strange to write a review. So, apologies beforehand.

This year has been the year where I changed and unthinkable amount of foundation shades. Apparently my skin tone is a very difficult one in terms of finding the right colour.

One of the foundations that I was using this summer was the Revlon Color Stay foundation. Excuse me for the messy bottle but I will explain why later.

The first thing you can notice is that the foundation I chose is one for normal to dry skin. I was watching one of the videos by Makeup by TiffanyD and she had mentioned that this actually performs better than the one for oily skin.
Anyways, just to make it clear it didn't make my face shiny either so I didn't have problem with that. The shade was actually a bit dark for me but I tan quickly so it wasn't that big of a problem.
I love how the foundation sits on the face. It has a medium to slightly full coverage with a nice slightly dewy finish. It doesn't look pasty or feel heavy on the skin. It does have SPF so beware of flash photography.
I don't imagine myself wearing foundation for 24hrs but I didn't take it literally as I rarely believe these claims. However, it is very long lasting. During the past summer I had to wear makeup on a regular basis and sometimes for a period of 12 hours. So, it was a good test.
I don't remember the actual price of this foundation but I realised that some so called drugstore brands are really putting up their prices!

My biggest dislike about this foundation is the no pump thingy.
It is usually no big deal if I absolutely love the product. But I cannot complain enough how dirty the bottle which oh btw is glass and is kind of heavy as well, gets.

Untill next post!

Skindinavia No More Shine Makeup Finish spray Review

I am always looking for longlasting makeup and I have several products which for me make my makeup last last longer. Check my favourite long lasting products video below.

Last June as you may probably know Martina from all things fabulous, marija from all things lady and me went to London for IMATS. I had various things on my wishlist and one of them has been the very famous and much raved about Skindinavia No More Shine Makeup Finish spray.

I believe this was around 18 pounds which is not that cheap considering it is a makeup setting spray but anyways.

I have read about some tips on how to use properly these setting sprays and I remember watching a video on Youtube and I remember I think it was Miss Glamorazzi. Not sure if it was her. She mentioned that the best way to get the out most of the setting properties is to spray before and after applying makeup.

I like to apply the spray with my EYES CLOSED!! in a T shape and kind of X shape. So, a spray from the forhead to the chin, one across the forehead, across the eyes for the eyeshadow and then and X shape spray all over the face. You can certainly spray only on certain areas which tend to get oiler.

I apply it after moisturiser and after finishing my makeup.

I seriously love this product. It is amazing because it makes my makeup last seriously all day! Shine free! Well I get a little bit of sweat if you consider that as shine. But no oily-shine if you know what I mean hahah.
It has a pleasent fragrance to it as well.

Just be careful to let your mascara to be fully dry because you will smudge your mascara when closing your eyes! Oh and make sure to leave the spray dry after applying your makeup because your face will be a bit shiny.
