One of the items is this Pure Colour Eyeshadow in shade 002 - Intense Brown. I am never disappointed with Pupa eyeshadows. And this one is no exception. It is very soft and extremely pigmented. I love to wear this eyeshadow on the outer half of the eye. I even wet the eyeshadow brush with some setting spray for a more intense colour.

If you follow me on my Facebook Page or in general, you might know that I am not a huge fan of red lipcolours. However, I occasionally find a colour which I really like. This hey is one of them. 

This is the Made to Last Lip Duo in shade 014 Exclusive Burgundy. This liquid lipstick has 2 steps. The 1st one is the actual lip colour which is matte and water proof and won't budge. The 2nd step is the glossy/balmy part which doesn't break the product down. I think I prefer not using the 2nd step. The product lasts ages and I wore it the first time for an event which included drinks and finger food. The lipstick stayed put!

The 1st swatch is the lip duo swatch. The swatch next to it is the eyeshadow swatch.

It is here! Wow we (Maltese) have a beauty subscription box and let's just say the first one is a bomb! plait is a subscription box with monthly, 3 months, or 6 months subscriptions. One can choose between organic, wine, beer and now beauty boxes! Service is great and free when you choose certain times!

Pupa Extreme Bronze Compact Powder Review

Pupa is one of my favourite makeup brands and I am always looking forward to trying out new products. One of the most recent summer launches is the new Extreme Bronze Compact Powder. I am very picky when it comes to bronzers. And let me tell you, this is one of my favourites!

The Pupa Extreme Bronze Compact Powder is dermatologically tests and poses low risk of allergies, it is non comedogenic and Paraben and fragrance free. This Bronzer makes the skin look nice and even. It has a very soft velvety texture with a natural matt finish.
It has a very fine texture and it blends on the skin like a dream, minimizing blemishes. This bronzer lasts a lot and the face stays mattified for hours. There are 4 shades available.

I love how natural this product can look on the face. It can definitely be built up to give a more tanned effect.

Girls in the City

A while back Me and Lara went to a very fun and different event. It was a Girls Night at the Cafe Riche in Birgu. There were lots of different stands with music and some delicious nibbles along the way. It was really a fun night talking and meeting new people whilst having a drink and enjoying the music! Just before we left we saw a snippet of a class which is offered by Boogie Bounce... It looked so much fun.. We might eventually attend a class..will see!

Pupa Bronze Fever Collection

This year highlighters have been all over the place. I was never a big fan of highlighters but I was really surprised by the new Pupa Face and Body Highlighter from the Pupa Bronze Fever Collection.

The Face & Body Highlighter has a very interesting texture. 

To be honest when I saw it  I said to myself "Oh no this is going to be oily, slippery and super sticky". On the contrary, it has this almost gel like consistency which dries quickly and is not sticky. It feels fresh and lightweight and it gives this gorgeous glow to the face and body. I use it usually either with a small stipple like brush or honestly even your fingers will work perfectly.

You all probably know by now how I love my eyeshadow sticks. Waterproof ones that is. The Pupa Made to Last Waterproof Eyeshadow sticks truly last the whole day through. 

They don't crease and they can be worn on their own or even under shadows as bases, which is my favourite way to wear them. They are very pigmented and are smooth and easy to to apply.

I have been looking for a good overnight Lip Balm for ages. I am all about lip balms and so. This product sits right on my vanity table and I use it just before I go to bed. It has a really good feel without being too oily. The formula combines the shine of a gloss and the comfortable effect of a balm with a  touch of color to enhance the lips. The restoring qualities of the raspberry seed oil nourish lips deeply.  

Four shades are available:

001 – Sunny Honey
002 – Orange Sunset
003 – Tropical Fuchsia
004 – Juicy Cherry

Pupa Milano Dot Shock Blusher Review

This post is long due, but I had  the craziest months. Anyway, today's blog post is on the Pupa Blusher from the Dot Shock Collection in 01 Dot Macarons (cute name right?!)

To be honest with you this was the first time I have tried a blusher in this form so to speak.

BUT!

This blusher is just the most natural pinkish blusher I have in my collection. At first it scared me a bit as the colour of the 'balls' is quite bright, but when they are mixed together they create the most natural look ever. 

PS. I got several compliments when I wore this blush and that says something!

I love to use it with the sponge like which comes with it on the highest points of my cheekbones and then I blend it with a blush brush. You can just use the brush, it will just be slightly sheerer.

The colour lasts all day and it is not entirely matte, but its not shiny. It just has this satiny sheen which is just gorgeous.

Pupa Milano Soft and Wild Limited Edition Collection

I am always looking forward to try out new collection from different brands. A few days ago I received 2 products to try out from the new Pupa Collection - Soft and Wild Limited collection. It is somewhat of a balance between a romantic and animalier trend. The collection is made up various pieces of makeup.

There are 4  Wet and Dry eyeshadows ( I do have other shades of these and I really suggest trying them out! ). These shadows can be used dry just as normal eyeshadows or wet to create a more intense payoff:

001 Golden Mauve, 003 Chic Gold, 004 Golden Rose and 005 Glam Pink

Their retail price is 11.70 euros.

There are 4 different Color Gel Nailpolishes (Glass Effect Nail Polish):

These nail polish give the nails a gorgeous shine to  the nails! There are 4 shades: 

129 Soft Rose Nude, 130 Soft Brown Nude, 132 Wild Red,  133 Wild Fuchsia

This is the most animalesque blusher you will ever see !! It has these golden/pink leopard prints!

The following are the 2 products which I received. The first one is the Soft and Wild Vamp! Duo Liner and Kajal.

 So, one end is an Eyeliner Marker and the other end is a Soft Kajal liner. I have to say it. I do have a bit of mixed feelings towards this liner. I hope I will be able to explain myself well.

You don't really get a lot of product in the Kajal end. However, it is quite tapered and so you can create very edgy looks. Having said that, it would definitely need some sharpening at some point. It does create, however, a very intense look. It is very black and pigmented. It is also quite creamy and easy to use to create a smudged/smoky look. You can also use it on the water line, although it does need setting. The Eyeliner marker part is quite good! It has a very pointy felt tip and you can create a very sharp liner. However, I found the liner bleeds a little in the fine lines. So, I suggest you use it only for the upper lash line. It is not the most pigmented liner out there but it does its job. It is not waterproof (it doesn't claim to be) but it does stay on for a good amount of time without smearing.

The other product I received is the Soft and Wild I'M Lipstick in the shade 002 Soft Brown Nude.

 There are other 3 shades in the range. 001 is called Soft Rose Nude, 003 is Wild Red and 004 Wild Fuchsia. The lipstick offers shine and colour with a very nice vanilla scent. It is very creamy and moisturising and quite long lasting too without drying the lips. I absolutely love the lipstick! And the shade is the perfect Nude colour !! I would strongly recommend this lipstick.
