Well, summer is approaching and although I am a huge fan of winter, I am really looking forward for this summer. Most probably I will still be fed up of all the heat in June already :).

I have teamed up with Artdeco to bring you 2 of my favourite tips on how to prep your skin before summer. This is TIP number 2. Check out tip number 1 here. 

This post about Lips. I tend to have dry lips all year round and I always have a sort of lip balm in my bag. The Artdeco glossy Lip Oil gives your lips a sheer color while nourishing them and makes them look extra glossy and softly smooth at the same time. This Glossy Lip Oil has some very good ingredients which include raspberry seed oil. It is parabens free and is also non sticky!

Well, summer is approaching and although I am a huge fan of winter, I am really looking forward for this summer. Most probably I will still be fed up of all the heat in June already :).

I have teamed up with Artdeco to bring you 2 of my favourite tips on how to prep your skin before summer. This is TIP no. 1.

 One of my holy grail products is a good scrub. I think it is the best way to exfoliate and get rid of the dead skin especially on the legs. Among other things, a good scrub helps with circulation and with cellular turn over. Skin lotions will then be able to penetrate the skin more to give optimal hydration.

A scrub which I am really loving at the moment is the Artdeco Senses Asian Spa Refining Body Scrub. I started using this scrub very frequently as it is quiet gentle  but at the same time still effective at removing dead skin. It has fine granules which makes it safe to use frequently and has the gentle fragrance of the white lotus flower and rice milk which leave the skin with a light fragrance.

I then follow up with the Artdeco Hydrating Body lotion. This body lotion is quiet gentle and is absorbed quickly without leaving the skin oily or greasy. It is paraben free. It leaves a pleasant scent on the skin thanks to the rice milk and white lotus extracts and leaves it quiet smooth and hydrated.

Artdeco Hello Sunshine! Summer 2016 collection Review

I am always so excited for new collections from Artdeco and I feel like it is such an underrated brand and it's not featured that much. This collection is all about the Summer, the sun and the feel good factors which summer brings with it. As much as it gets too hot here in Malta in summer, there is nothing better than some sun during the day.

"Goodbye, winter! Hello, sunshine! The new bronzing collection awakens a desire for summer, sun, beach and sea. Say goodbye to pale winter skin and refresh your face with summery radiance. In the "Hello Sunshine" collection, intense aqua mingles with sparkling peach and warm red on fine bronze. Vibrant colors that exude a pure summer feeling."

The 2 products which I bought are the Sun Blusher and the Lipshine lipstick.

This blusher gives me life! The 3 colours, peach, nude with a touch of pearl conjure up a sun-kissed freshness on your cheeks. The gorgeous sun design makes you crave for summer, sun, beach and sea.

I love to mix the 3 shades together to create a  perfect blend of colours with a gorgeous hint of shimmer which  together give this gorgeous colour on the cheeks.

The colours can be used individually although it can be a bit challenging. However, I absolutely love the highlighter! It is just gorgeous, without making you look like a disco ball. The Blusher also lasts quite a long time on the cheeks. Also, remember that the blusher is Paraben- and lanolin-free. Mineral oil-free. Perfume-free.

The Color Lip Shine lipstick is the other product which I bought. It is Shade 06 Shiny Bronze.

The Color Lip Shine lipstick has a soft and light, creamy gel texture which is very comfortable to apply and delivers delicate freshness and brilliance for a unique finish. It is quite pigmented  and it is combine with a soft shine  and hydration which makes it a perfect product for the lips.

The lipstick contains shimmering polymers that naturally accentuate and beautify the lips without being too much shimmery. Having said that is not glitter. The lipstick is also free of parabens, fragrances and silicone.

Artdeco Blush Couture Blusher by Talbot Runhof Review

I think Artdeco have some of the nicest packaging and prints when it comes to makeup items. A while back I reviewed the Arctic Collection which I still use it to this day. 

A while back I got this Blush Couture Blusher by Talbot Runhof for Artdeco. It is a matte blush, but it is not a flat matte blush if you know what I mean. It is matte but still looks natural and perfect. However, initially it has a layer of a metallicy shimmer which after a couple of uses it just goes away.

At first I thought I would use the shades separately which in a way you can. But you do need a smaller blush brush in order to do that. But you can totally swirl the brush and get a nice natural pop of colour. 

I am totally in love with it! You can wear it honestly all year round. Although it would be a perfect summer blush because it is bright but not too bright. 

It lasts all day and I think you can honestly wear it with any eye/makeup look.
