Mangano - Spring / Summer 2018 collection

Last week I was cordially invited to the launch of Mangano Spring Summer 2018 collection. The main theme in this collection is the eighties glamour as can be featured in flowing dresses with ruffles. Full tulle skirts, sequined striped sweaters and jeans studded with crystals are just some of the few key features which will make you reminiscent of the eighties.

In this collection wide ruffles, decorative shoulders, cinched waists, bustier-style belts and bare shoulders and legs are some of the features which are prominent. This collection is filled with butterfly prints, stripes in various colours and flowers. As one can see in the photos below the collection will also take you right into spring with colours including pastels among others.

Purple Collection Launch

A few days ago I accompanied Lara from Every Beauty Addict's Bible to the launch of a new outlet in Birkirkara - Purple. We arrived a bit early so we had plenty of time to take pictures and browse the clothes.

As you enter the shop you are immediately welcomed by Audrey Hepburn who is in my opinion a style icon. The shop is also very modernly designed with plenty of bright lights.

The collection is designed by Alexandra & Sergio who decided to open this store after leaving the UK and moving to Malta. The collection is made in Italy and it reflects the real passion and love for women's fashion. 

I can honestly say that as soon as we entered the store I was going to leave with an item for sure (ps. I left with 2 shhh!). The collection is made up of items which you are going to love for sure. They are very wearable but designed and made with a flair. There are dresses, tops, casual items which can be dressed up, and so much more. I urge you to visit the store as they have really good items! Below are some snapshots of the collection:

La Boutique Fashion Show

Last week also saw a small fashion show from La Boutique outlet. It was a winter show which in my opinion showcased the famous style Italy can offer. It involved some luxurious pieces from the famous Italian designers Amina Rubinacci from Naples, Lamberto Losani and Daniela Tovazzi, who all specialise in designing some of the most nice cashmere numbers out there. 

It was set up in the breathtaking Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar, which symbolises, in my opinion. luxury and elegance at its best.
